Scholarship Type: Female Empowerment Scholarship

 

The Female Empowerment Scholarship is designed to encourage and support female students who aspire to pursue MBBS studies but face financial, social, or cultural barriers. This scholarship reflects our commitment to promoting gender equality in medical education and empowering women to become leaders in the healthcare sector.

 

Terms & Conditions

1.Eligibility Criteria:

•Gender: Open only to female students.

•Academic Requirements:

•Minimum GPA 4.0 in SSC and HSC examinations.

•A minimum score of 75% in Biology in HSC.

•Personal Motivation:

•Applicants must submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP) explaining how the scholarship will empower them to achieve their dreams and how they plan to contribute to society as future medical professionals.

•Applicants must be Bangladeshi citizens.

2.Scholarship Award:

•Tuition fee discounts ranging from 10% to 50%, based on academic merit and personal motivation as assessed in the SOP.

•Additional recognition for outstanding candidates, including mentorship opportunities with female healthcare professionals.

3.Required Documents:

•SSC and HSC mark sheets and certificates.

•National ID card or passport copy.

•A recent passport-sized photograph.

•Statement of Purpose (SOP) describing:

•The applicant’s motivation to pursue medicine.

•Challenges faced as a female aspiring for higher education.

•How they intend to contribute to society as a female healthcare professional.

4.Application Process:

•Submit the completed application form and required documents .

•Applications can be submitted to the Worldwide Medical Admission Ltd office or uploaded through the official website.

5.General Rules:

•Scholarships apply only to tuition fees and do not cover accommodation, travel, or other expenses.

•Scholarships are non-transferable and valid only for the semester and academic year for which they are awarded.

•The scholarship may be revoked if false information is provided or if the student fails to meet academic performance requirements during the program.

 

Selection Process

1.Step 1: Application Screening

•All applications will be reviewed to ensure eligibility and completeness.

•Academic performance, financial need (if applicable), and the Statement of Purpose will be key factors for initial evaluation.

2.Step 2: Shortlisting

•A shortlist of candidates will be created based on academic qualifications and the strength of the SOP.

3.Step 3: Additional Evaluation (if necessary)

•If the number of shortlisted candidates exceeds the available scholarships, a personal interview or additional assessment may be conducted.

4.Step 4: Final Selection

•The final list of scholarship recipients will be determined by the scholarship committee 

 

Post-Selection Steps

1.Notification:

•Selected candidates will be notified via email and phone. A formal confirmation letter will also be issued.

2.Acceptance:

•Candidates must confirm their acceptance of the scholarship within 7 days of notification.

3.Admission Process:

•Proceed with the admission formalities as guided by the Worldwide Medical Admission Ltd office.

•Pay the remaining tuition fees after the scholarship discount has been applied.

4.Mentorship Opportunities:

•Selected students may have access to mentorship and networking opportunities with female healthcare professionals to inspire and guide them in their medical careers.
